OUR AMBASSADORS
Below you will find the ambassadors for Never Cry Wolf Rescue & Adoptions. These beautiful animals are the heart and soul of this orginazation, and the reason behind our hard work.
We regret to inform you that the wolves below are no longer with us, and have passed away before homes could be found for them.

Rambo is credited for starting Never Cry Wolf rescue. He was found in the foothills in California after, most likely being dumped by his owner. I came across him and after 10 hours, I asked him if he wanted to go home with me. He jumped in my open Willy's jeep and, we drove back to Sacramento. I later found that dumping a wolf or wolf hybrid is very common because people knew at the time Animal Control's attitude of putting them down on sight. |

Ninja came along and I did everything wrong...like most people without correct education about wolf-hybrid. She was a live wire and full of mischief. She later became one of the most impressive ambassadors who loved to perform for kids in schools. |

Many other wolf and wolf hybrid have come and gone until Raider's arrival. He was very special and, had gifts that are still being discovered long after he left this physical world. Native American Shamans and healers are still involved with Raider's journey. He will always have a place in ours hearts. |

Saber was with us 4 years as an ambassador to our pack. He found a special person that he wanted to live with. If an ambassador wants to part from us, we do not stand in their way. They always have that option. Sabre now resides in his new home with five cats and two other canine companions. |

Glacier was a Grey Wolf. Most of our ambassadors are Timber Wolves. He died of a broken heart. He was bottle fed by his owner and very happy. For what ever reason his owner just up and left him. He stopped eating and drinking. After all attempts to save his life, he just gave up. This was when I learned how strong a bond between wolf and man can be.
Now when people call after bottle feeding from pups their 8 or 9 year old companions who they no longer want, it reminds me of Glacier and saddens my heart. |
