Latest Update (as of 08/03/2005):

It was always our plan to move to a larger property and build a Wolf Education Center with a Bed and Breakfast however, we were not prepared to be forced out at the end of June. I have Fostered out as many as I could but, we still have four. The person who has Hagen needs to bring him back and, he will be up and over this new legal limit.

We need help saving these guys then, locating land, raising money to buy the land, (or rent) obtain/pay permits and licenses . We will need these in a county (wolf friendly) to operate a wolf-hybrid rescue, rehab, adoption and, education center.

The land must be in a county that allows hybrids

Our ideal property (for sale or rent) would be:
10+ usable acres of cleared rolling hills near a major highway for easy access with unlimited restriction for the number of rescued wolf-hybrids. Any property that has easy access for volunteers or, people who want to take classes or adopt and, take tours. My first choice of property would be near other attractions (such as "Apple Hill" or a vineyard) to encourage tourist traffic and, out of the area of fox tail's, fast moving water and, probability of brush fires are always a concern. I have placed calls to El Dorado County but, nothing back in writing if we can or can not have them their.

The next step:
Once land is obtained we will need to fence it before we can move the wolves and wolf-hybrids. We will need nine gage (six gage is better) cyclone fencing, poles, gates and hardware. We will also need cement to lay along the perimeter so nobody digs out.
